MODELFAIR 2012- Saturday and Sunday 3/4 th NOVEMBER – 10am to 5pm
Modelfair is a family show attracting around 1,200 visitors and is known throughout as the Premier Model Show in the North of Scotland. The event is run over two days and as the name implies incorporates a wide variety of hobby modellers and collectors.
In 2010 a total of 53 exhibitors participated displaying railway layouts and collections in all gauges, railway memorabilia, radio controlled aeroplanes, scratch built model boats and ships, dolls houses, computer simulators to fly aircraft or drive trains, digital slot car racing, static model road vehicles from yesteryear, war gaming battle scenarios, Meccano models (static and working), pictorial displays illustrating the local heritage railways, and a variety of craft demonstrations.
