Elgin Model Railway Layouts
EMRC members are currently modelling layouts in O, OO, and N Gauge.
The yet to be named N gauge is still in the planning and building stage and is a project to help with Tuesday evening training and instruction.
Bealing
Our OO, exhibited for the first time at Modelfair 1999, is loosely based on Stirling allowing us to run a wide variety of rolling stock around a model of Beattock station.
Cragganmore
Our O gauge, was in running condition by Easter 2000 but has since gone through some changes prior to being exhibited at Modelfair 2006. To add realism- slow acting point motors, telegraph wires and a new station building were added. In addition the storage yards have been completely replaced by a new cassette system.
